Which school will process my aid?
Financial Aid will be managed by your local college while you are a freshman and sophomore (0-59 credit hours). When you reach 60 credit hours your financial aid will be managed by Texas State University. Pro-Tip: you should include both schools on your FAFSA. Texas State's school code is 003615.

What is the TXST Local Award?
This $2,000 award ($1,000 per semester for 4 consecutive semesters) is offered to all students once they complete at least 60 hours. This award may be renewed for up to 1 year.
