The name on a student’s diploma will appear as the full legal name that Texas State University currently has on file. If the name on the student’s record is incorrect, the student must follow the personal information update procedure to change it. The deadline for Fall 2025 candidates to request a name change for their diploma is Friday, January 2, 2026.
