Ordering a Transcript
Texas State University has partnered with Parchment to order and send your transcript and other credentials securely. This link will open a new browser.
Parchment Transcript Support can be reached by phone at 1-888-662-0873. Their support hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Central Time.
Successfully completed orders are placed on "Verified ID Delay," which means that it is in our queue to be processed within 1-2 business days.

Current Students- Order Online
- Log in to Texas State Self-Service
- Click on "Student" tab
- Click on "Student Records"
- Click on "Order Official Transcript"
- Follow the prompts to place your order through Parchment
Successfully completed orders are placed on "Verified ID Delay," which means that it is in our queue to be processed within 1-2 business days.
If you do not know or have forgotten your login information, go to CatsWeb and look under "Online Services" to retrieve your NetID or password.

When Placing an Order Students and Alumni Assume Responsibility for
- Providing the correct mailing address and/or email address.
- Ensuring the recipient accepts your chosen method of delivery.
- Ordering with enough time to meet the recipient’s deadline.
- Following up with the recipient to ensure its arrival.
Electronic transcripts are only official coming directly from TXST through Parchment. Once the secured link is opened, the transcript is no longer considered official. Printed transcripts are only official if still in the sealed envelope from Parchment if mailed, or TXST if picked up. Once the envelope is opened, the transcript is no longer considered official.

Important Information Regarding Holds and Ordering a Transcript
Students and Alumni must fulfill all obligations to the University before we are authorized to release an official transcript. For information on holds and who to contact to remove them, please visit our Hold Codes and Contacts page.

Check Your Order Status
You can view real-time status updates of your official TXST transcript order through your Parchment account. Sign in to Parchment.com and click Orders. Go to the Tracking help page for full details.

Transcript Matching Forms
Students sending their transcripts to application services such as AMCAS, LSAC, NCARB, SOPHAS, AACOMAS or other professional certification, examination, and licensing agencies, will be able to provide any application service ID or upload required forms while ordering through Parchment. Parchment provides a list of established agencies to select from within the order form.

Transcript Not Received? : Re-send Policy
Texas State University will resend a transcript to the same address at no charge after 15 days and up to 30 days from the date of initial order. Requests for resend before 15 days and after 30 days of initial order will require you to submit another order through Parchment.com.
If you are registered or expect to graduate in the current semester, we encourage you to check your unofficial transcript in Texas State Self-Service prior to placing an order. Students can request transcript orders to be held until grades/degrees for the current term have been posted. The Office of the University Registrar will not authorize a reprint of official transcripts because of a failure to do so.
If a requested transcript is not delivered due to University error, we will gladly provide a replacement transcript at no additional cost. We cannot accept responsibility for non-delivery if the mailing or email address provided is either incomplete or incorrect, nor can we accept responsibility for timely delivery by the US Post Office, FedEx, or any other mail carrier vendor. -
Unofficial Transcripts
Only students who have an active NetID will be able to retrieve an unofficial transcript through Texas State Self-Service.
1. Log in to Texas State Self-Service
2. Click on "Student" tab
3. Click on "Student Records"
4. Click on "Academic Transcript"
5. Select Level & Unofficial Transcript
6. Click on “Submit”
7. Save and Print. Once you've accessed your unofficial transcript, you can save it as a PDF by printing the webpage from your browser and choosing the 'Save as PDF' or 'Print to PDF' option.Students who do not have an active NetID may visit our office to pick up an unofficial transcript in person with photo ID. Alternatively, an official transcript can be ordered through Parchment.

Continuing Education
Students who have earned a certificate through or were only enrolled in courses in Continuing Education, will not have a transcript record. Please contact the Office of Distance and Extended Learning to request record of continuing education courses, or replacement certificates.
