Tuition Insurance

GradGuard™

At Texas State University, we believe it is important to offer an easy, affordable way to protect the investment our students and their families have made in higher education. Because of this, we have partnered with GradGuard™ to provide our families with tuition insurance featuring special plans and rates not available to the general public.

Tuition insurance helps students and their families overcome the financial losses that may result from events which force students to withdraw from the semester due to a covered medical reason.

With tuition insurance coverage, students can receive a reimbursement of up to 100% of their school expenses/payments after an unexpected withdrawal (at any time during the semester) for a covered illness, injury, mental health disorder, and more.

Plans also include Student Life Assistance: a 24-hour emergency hotline that offers students and parents even greater peace of mind.

The deadline to enroll for the spring 2025 term is January 12, 2025.
